Dr. Elias Herlander Anacleto da Silva, a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Professor of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, basketball player, was for fifty-five years, the Technical Director of Farmácia Turcifalense. Later, his son, Nelson José da Mata Anacleto Silva, Pharmacy Technician, practicing in his youth Greco-Roman games, became the new owner, and was also a founder of the Association of Aid Turcifal with a social and cultural purpuses. His commitment is also expressed when Turcifal became a Village. Currently, the company Barreiros & Anacleto Ltd. owns the Farmácia Turcifalense and the Posto Farmacêutico móvel of Freiria. 

The Farmácia Turcifalense is located in Portugal, the District of Lisbon, the Council of Torres Vedras, Town of Turcifal. Seven kilometers from the headquarters of the council, the parish consists of the places Freixoeira, Carvalhal, Melroeira, Casal Barbas, Almeirinhos, Aldeia da Serra, Cadriceira and Mugideira. It is located on the right bank of a tributary of the Sisandro river. The means of communication, especially the A8, contributed to the development of the village. Reflections of this development in recent years, have been the construction of residential resorts such as Campo Real, with a golf course, equestrian center and a Westin hotel chain, and Quinta de Fez also a residential area. The icon of this town is the Church of St. Mary Magdalene. 

The Posto Farmacêutico móvel of Freiria, founded in 1973, is located in the Town of Freiria, Council of Torres Vedras (12 kilometers from the headquarters of the council). This town is known by the popular name of Freiria dos Chapéus and the filming of the television show Floribela. The parish consists of Arruda, Asseiceira, Castelhana, Chãos, Colaria, counsils of Freiria, Moucharia, Murteira, Paul, Poços, Sarreira, Sendieira. The name is related to an historical event occurred in the parish in ancient times. It inhabited the friars of a religious order. So long was their presence that the name prevailed. Freiria also means congregation, society, military corporation. The icon of this village is the Church of St. Lucas. The INFARMED institute (National Authority of Medicines and Health Products) authorized on May 18th 2009, the upgrade of the pharmaceutical mobile site into a Pharmacy and transfer to new facilities. On August 18th, was drawn up the deed to the land of the future Pharmacy and on the very next day, began the construction which is expected to be completed by the end of February 2010. 

Our family has been, therefore, dedicated to serve and support the population in the west of Portugal for nearly 60 years. As a way of evolving with the aim of providing a quality service, most complete and comprehensive for our users, we created this website (the pioneer in the Council of Lisbon) in May 2009 - wwwfarmaciaturcifalense.com - and the delivery medicines at home. On 20th November, the website of Farmácia Turcifalense was approved by the INFARMED institute, allowing the online sales for products not subject to medical prescriptions.
